The event organizer, Diaspora businessman Pierre Baghdadyan, told reporters that the fair has been held for the fifth consecutive year, the number of its participant growing with each year.
''This year 33 pavilions were presented at the exhibition, where Yerevan residents and guests will be able to find various souvenirs dedicated to Christmas and New Year,'' Baghdadyan said.
The pavilions mainly present various souvenirs, festive decorations and sweets. In Baghdadyan's words, such events are the inseparable part of festive events in a number of European countries.
''We decided to introduce this tradition to Armenia, and today we are very happy that we have lived up to our expectations: the number of the event participants and interested residents grows every year,'' the organizer noted.
The exhibition will run till January 13.
