Dr. Mari Darakchyan - Pediatrician / Neonatologist, MD, PhD, Head of Neonatal Service at Grigor Narekatsi Medical Center.
Education and training
Dr. Mari Darakchyan graduated from the Department of General Medicine of the Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi (YSMU) in 2004, and the Residency (in Pediatrics) of the same university, in 2007. Later, in 2008, Dr. Darakchyan successfully accomplished her second Residency in Neonatology, in the National Institute of Health Named After Academician S. AVDALBEKYAN (NIH).
Dr. Mari Darakchyan participated in several training programs, such as:

Medical practice and other relevant experience
Dr. Mari Darakchyan started her medical practice in 2004, being in the Residency of the YSMU, on Pediatrics. She also worked in pharmaceutical sector from 2007 to 2016 - Product Manager at KRKA pharmaceutical company, 2007-2011; Medical representative at SERVIER pharmaceutical company, 2011-2013; KAM manager at NOVARTIS pharmaceutical company, 2015-2016. In parallel, Dr. Mari Darakchyan worked as a lecturer in the Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi, from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, Dr. Darakchyan worked in the ASTGHIK MEDICAL CENTER, as a neonatologist. Currently Dr. Mari Darakchyan is the Head of Neonatal Service of GRIGOR NAREKATSI MEDICAL CENTER.
Scientific activities
During the years of 2012-2016 Dr. Mari Darakchyan was a post-graduate student (PhD researcher) at Neonatology Department of the YSMU, and later respectively defended her PhD thesis in Pediatrics, in 2017.
