Education and training
Dr. Hasmik Saiyan has graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine of the Yerevan State University after Mkhitar Heratsi in 1994, and the Internship in 1996. In 2000 Dr. Sainyan received her general practitioner’s license N Բ-XX-003681, from the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia. She continued her professional and educational development in the National Institute of Health Named After Academician S. AVDALBEKYAN (NIH), Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia, in 2005.
Medical practice and other professional experience
Dr. Hasmik Sainyan started her major medical practice in the EREBOUNI MEDICAL CENTER in 1997. Currently she is the Deputy Director for Therapy and the Head of the Department for Emergency Medical Care of the same hospital.
Doctor Sainyan coordinates the emergency medical care to patients with sudden acute diseases and conditions, exacerbation of chronic diseases without overt signs of threats to the life of the patient.
Emergency medical diagnostic and medical care is carried out both when patients appeals independently by oneself or by reference of outpatients clinics and when the patients delivered by ambulance teams that provides patients with multidisciplinary medical care at home and during transfer to the Center.
Major professional activities include:
- Examination and tests of appealed patients for early diagnostics
- Emergency medical care of enrolled patients diagnosed with diseases in the acute stage
- Providing medical care with the further continuation of treatment at home
- Transfer of patients to a specialized unit or an intensive care unit for further examination and treatment
- Transfer of patients to the operating room for further surgical treatment
- Other relevant medical assistance
