Dr. Gegham G. Aghabekyan - Medical radiologist with over 30 year of experience, ultrasound specialist, using the latest technologies as elastography, virtual endosonography, 3D, 4D ultrasound etc: which are invested and used in Armenia for the first time; MD, PhD, founder of Aghabekyan Diagnostic Clinic.
AWARDS
• The Medal of Mkhitar Heratsi is awarded for services aimed at promotion of the health and medical sectors in the Republic of Armenia and high professional and practical work, 2014.
• First Prize nomination, the introduction of Armenia Public TV Awards: Best Doctors newest methods, 2006.
Dr. Aghabekyan graduated from the Yerevan State Medical Institute in 198; Residency, Radiology, Institute of Roentgenology and Radiology in 1987, and Abdominal Ultrasound Training, Diagnostica Medical Research Production Corporation in 1991. Later Dr. Gegham Aghabekyan participated in various educational and training programs, such as - Interventional Radiology, FNA under US control, Institute of Surgery after Vishnewski, Russia, Moscow in 1993, Training of all fields in Diagnostic Radiology, including interventional Radiology, University Clinic of Radiology in AKH, Viena, Austria in 2000, SALZBURG CORNELL SEMINAR IN DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING Austria, Salzburg in 2003, International Congress in May EFSUMB - Tel-Aviv city in 2014 and International course of the Ultrasound of the Gastrointestinal tract, Gargnano, Italy in 2016.
