Dr. Lusine H. Bekirska-Tamazyan graduated from the Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi (YSMU) in 1992, and the Clinical Residency of the National Institute of Health Named After Academician S. AVDALBEKYAN (NIH) in 1994.

Dr. Lusine H. Bekirska-Tamazyan started her medical practice as a medical doctor at MIKAELYAN SURGERY INSTITUTE in 1933. She became a Resident Medical Doctor at Pediatric Ophthalmology Department of N8 Hospital in 1994.
Dr. Lusine Bekirska-Tamazyan is the Head of the Department of Ocular Excimer-Laser Microsurgery at Medical Center after V. Avakyan, since 2001. In addition she works as Ophthalmologist and Microsurgeon in the Department of Excimer-Laser and Modern technologies at S.V.Malayan’s Eye Center, since 2006.
