Dr. Ashot Ashotyan - Herbalist, MD, Traumatologist, Founder and Head of Ashotyan Medical Center, author and presenter of many popular television programs on phytotherapy, well known specialist and author of many books in traditional (folk) medicine.
Education and science
Dr. Ashot Ashotyan graduated from the Medical Department of the Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi.
Dr. Ashotyan has been interested in folk medicine since his student days. He diligently studied the medicinal properties of various plants and traditional medicine. Dr. Ashotyan studied the above mentioned traditions from a scientific point of view, and also enriched them with a creative innovative approach.
In parallel with his work, Dr. Ashotyan engaged in research, as well as teaching and public work.
Dr. Ashotyan is the author of more than 40 scientific articles, reference materials, as well as numerous radio-television programs in Armenia and the Diaspora. The above testifies to his long-standing unrelenting activity. Dr. Ashotyan has over 30 inventions approved by the State Standard and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
Medical practice and related professional experience
Dr. Ashot Ashotyan treated more than 30,000 patients with various diseases for 30 years. Beginning with healing, he combined traditional methods of treatment with non-traditional ones. Developing them, he always looked for a new one.
Dr. Ashotyan is a specialist in traumatology and works as an assistant-lecturer in the Yerevan Rehabilitation Center for Orthopedics and Traumatology. At the same time, he continues to actively engage in traditional medicine.
Thanks to Dr. Ashotyan, in today's Armenia there are various ready-made recipes that seem to be innovations in medicine, and with their effectiveness they change the understanding of many people regarding "incurable" diseases.
Currently, several pharmaceutical companies are interested in the scientific works and recipes of Dr. Ashotyan. He constantly receives proposals and contracts for cooperation in this field.
The medical activity of Dr. Ashotyan is licensed by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
Healthcare programs on Armenian TV
From 1990 to 1993, Dr. Ashotyan successfully led the popular television program HEALTHCARE on the channels MAYR HAYRENIK and NOR HAYASTAN - the national TV channels of the Republic of Armenia.
Membership
Since 1996, Dr. Ashot Ashotyan is one of the active members of the Association of Traumatologists and Orthopedists of the Republic of Armenia.
Publications
From 2000 to the present time the journal HOME SANATORIUM publishes the popular scientific articles of Dr. Ashotyan, which have great success among readers. Dr. Ashotyan has more than 100 scientific works published in Armenia and abroad.
