EDUCATION

Dr. Ashot Sirunyan graduated from the Medical Department of Military-Medical Academy after S. Kirov of Leningrad (currently: Sankt - Petersburg), in1989, and the Faculty of therapy of the Yerevan Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi in 1993. Dr. Ashot Sirunyan participated in a training program on endoscopic and vaginal surgery and gynecology in the USA, California (Orange County, Saint Joseph Hospital), in 2000. He also participated in Kornell University seminar on “Obstetrics and Gynecology” (Salzburg, Austria), in 2005.

MEDICAL PRACTICE AND OTHER RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Dr. Ashot Sirunyan started his medical practice in 1994, as a medical intern on therapy in the CENTRAL REGIONAL HOSPITAL of Masis city, Armenia, in 1995. Later, he successfully completed his Medical Residency on OBSTETRICS and GYNECOLOGY in the National Institute of Health named after Academician S. AVDALBEKYAN (NIH), Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia, in 1999. During the years of 1999-2000, Dr. Sirunyan was an obstetrician-gynecologist at Maternity Hospital N3, Yerevan. From 2000 to 2003, Dr. Ashot Sirunyan was the Head of the Department on Pathologic Pregnancy of SHENGAVIT MEDICAL CENTER, and headed the Obstetrical Department of the same hospital since 2003. Meantime, Dr. Sirunyan became the Vice-President on treatment of the SHENGAVIT MEDICAL CENTER.
