EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Dr. Vardan Levon Bakalyan has graduated from the department of Dentistry, Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsy, in 1998, and the postgraduate residency at the Department of Surgical Stomatology (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) of the same university, in 2001. Later educational and professional development includes:

· Postdoctoral education, 2001-2004.
· Special course on Implantology - Israel, 2010

Dr. Vardan Levon Bakalyan received his PhD in 2004.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Major and significant practice in Periodontology and Implantology, also practicing general dentistry, since 1999.
Associate Professor in the Department of Surgical Stomatology of the Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsy (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery), 2001-2005.
Supervisor of Residency in the specialty of PERIODONTOLGY, since 2005.
Head of the Department of Prosthodontics of Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsy, 2006 – 2010.
Head of the Department of Periodontology and Therapeutic Stomatology (a newly created department of Periodontology and Conservative Dentistry), since 2011.
