Dr. Arthur T. Papazyan - PhD, DMD, Dentist, Founder and Director of SONATO Dental Clinic, Chief Orthodontist of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia, Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine of the Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi, Professor of the Chair of Maxillofacial Surgery and Surgical Stomatology at the same university. 

Education and training 

Dr. Arthur Toros Papazyan graduated from the Department of Dentistry of the Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi with honors, in 1994, and the Clinical Residency at the Chair of Pediatric Dentistry, with honors, in 1997. Further education and major training includes:  

• Practicing of micro implants in orthodontics - 2008 
• Orthodontics, Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi - 2009 

Medical practice and other professional experience 

Dr. Arthur Papazyan started his medical practice in the Republic’s Center for Pediatric Dentistry, in 1995. He founded SONATO Dental Clinic in 1997 and continues his medical / dental practice there till now. During the years of 2003 - 2011 Dr. Papazyan worked in the Chair of Dental Diseases Prevention and Pediatric Dentistry -- as an assistant professor (2003 - 2006), and later he became the Head of Chair (2006 - 2011).  

Scientific activities 

In 2003, Dr. Arthur Papazyan accomplished his scientific thesis on “Functional state of periodontal and implementation of laser raying in orthodontic treatment”, and received his PhD successfully. In 2009, he completed his doctoral thesis on Clinical and Diagnostic Aspects of Orthodontic Treatment of Distal Oxygen. .
