Dr. Hamlet Gregory Hayrapetyan, MD, Ph.D., Doctor of Since, Professor at Yerevan State Medical University, Chief Cardiologist of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia, Chief of Cardiology Center at EREBOUNI MEDICAL CENTER. 

Dr. Hamlet Hayrapetyan was born in 1965. In 1988 graduated from Yerevan State Medical University. 1988-1990 passed a postgraduate training program of the Yerevan State Medical University and was qualified as a cardiologist. From 1990 he works in Erebouni MC, from 2001 as the Chief of the Urgent Cardiology Department, from 2015 as the Head of Erebouni Cardiology Center. From 2014 simultaneously Hayrapetyan is Professor at Yerevan State Medical University and the Chief Cardiologist of the Republic of Armenia. In 1995 he defended his thesis and was qualified as MD, PHD, in 2014 – Doctor of Medicine. In 2003 he received a Diploma of Endovascular & Interventional Cardiologist. In 2010 he became Fellow of European Society of Cardiology. He is Member of Acute Cardiovascular Care Association, Member of Heart Failure Association of the ESC, Member of the American Society of Echocardiography, Armenian Cardiologists Association Board Member. Has more than 100 scientific publications and monographies. Main research areas are: acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, echocardiography.
