Most of the endovascular interventions are painless. The main approach is the transradial access - through the radial artery, which reduces the rate of local complications after interventions, it is more comfortable and recovery takes less time.
Rehabilitation after cardiac catheterization usually takes a few hours. In case of endovascular interventions (angioplasty and stenting) the hospital stay may take 2-3 days.
