TSAGHKUNQ guest house is clearly distinguished from others by its specific location, features of the kitchen and, of course, hospitality.

TSAGHKUNQ guest house is located in approximately 60 km from Yerevan and 7 km north-west of Lake Sevan, Armenia. This is an amazing place, full of positive energy, freedom and tranquility.

TSAGHKUNQ guest house was founded and is run by a traditional Armenian family in the glory of Mr. Yura Sargsyan and his lovely wife Ani.

Chef Yura Sargsyan has worked in the gourmet industry for more than twenty years. During this time, he learned and mastered the cuisine of many countries, managed to work in restaurants from Copenhagen to Cyprus. As a master of culinary business, he became known in many countries, more than once he was invited to cook for presidents and celebrities from different countries, and many famous people visited the TSGHKUNQ guest house and tried delicious dishes of Chef Yura Sargsyan.

Yura always dreamed of having a big house that looked like his childhood home - light, comfortable, full of spiritual warmth and emotional harmony. He always wanted to greet and see many guests in this house with a smile. He always wanted to greet and see many guests in this house with a smile.

And in 2011, Yura's desire finally came true - the doors of his TSAGHKUNQ guest house opened, in which the atmosphere of a native home reigns, and where everything is as Yura wanted. Here Yura and his wife Ani provide real Armenian hospitality, delicious Armenian and international dishes made from fresh, natural, environmentally friendly products.

Yura loves his work so much that he smells his childhood from his dishes - the smell of grandmother's dried leaves, country cheese, and of course - the smell of pita bread made on tonir. He also remembers how everyone waited for the evening, when the grandfather would come and when the grandmother would cover the table with simple but very tasty dishes. After a hard working day, there was always peace and happy calm in the house and Yura is trying to recreate this wonderful feeling in the TSAGHKUNQ guest house.

Yura was born in the village of Tsaghkunq, in which, starting from the 520 BC, there were hospitable people who peacefully sent their cows and lamb, had fun at weddings and prayed to God. And a lot of delicious dishes, spices and side dishes were also born in this village.

Mr. Yura Sargsyan is the Director and Chef of the TSAGHKUNQ guest house. He is an active member of the Armenian Non-Governmental Organization for Preservation and Development of the Armenian Culinary Traditions.

Chef Yura Sargsyan participated in many competitions and festivals of famous chefs and was honored with high prizes, diplomas and certificates:

In the restaurant of the guest house visitors can try various Armenian and non-Armenian dishes. But, of course, such dishes as Armenian dolma, Khashlama, Sevan Lake’s fish, Ghapama, Harisa, various shish-kebabs, and finally Yura's kebab from crayfish are especially popular. Thanks to Yura Sargsyan, this dish became very popular not only in Armenia, but also in other countries.

The guest house has comfortable rooms. In winter, you can go skiing and Russian sledge, go hunting, sit near the fireplace, and spend a wonderful holiday. And in the summer, all the more, there are a lot of attractions both in the village and nearby, including Lake Sevan.

It is impossible to describe in words all the charms and feelings that fill every visitor of this magical place. It is better to just take a vacation and go to Armenia, and be sure to spend a few days in this lovely place, with this beautiful family.
